The Original Dark Knight To Arrive in Bookstores This Fall

9in_1939_batman.jpg - 18099 BytesA few months back RTM announced that Chronicle Books would be releasing a Masterpiece Edition of their Batman: The Complete History hardcover including a 9 inch, cloth costumed action figure of The Bat-Man, in his 1939 debut incarnation.

Here's a closer look at the figure that will be included with the boxed set. This figure looks to be a perfect representation of Batman in his earliest years, and is a must have for Bat-fans. Batman: The Complete History, by Les Daniel (author of Superman: The Complete History and DC Comics: 60 Years of the World's Favorite Comic Book Heroes) is expected in stores this fall. A Wonder Woman: The Complete History, as previous reported, is also in the works along with a Masterpiece Edition to follow.
