Return of the King Figures

July 2003 - Toy Biz has released these images of their upcoming action figures based on the film Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King. Not all of the characters or all of the action features of the action figures are listed, in order to preserve the secrecy of "key plot developments" in the film.

Return of the King, Assortment One - six inch action figures, due out in stores in August 2003, with a suggested retail price of $7.99 USD each: - Uruk-Hai with Real Crossbow Firing Action
- Frodo in Orc Armor
- Samwise Gamgee in Orc Armor
- Helm's Deep Aragorn with Sword Wielding Action
- Eomer with Sword Slashing Action
Return of the King, Assortment Two - six inch action figures, due out in stores in August 2003, with a suggested retail price of $7.99 USD each: - Gollum with Crawling Action
- Superposeable Aragorn (30 points of articulation)
- Eowyn in Armor with Sword Slashing Action
- Gandalf the White with Sword Slashing Action and Fabric Cape
Deluxe Talking Gollum - due out in stores in October 2003, with a suggested retail price of $19.99 USD. The Deluxe Gollum is an 11-inch bendy figure with a base. The base is electronic and has two buttons: one button activates Gollum phrases and the other activates Smeagol phrases. This figure comes with two heads which can be swapped out: a Gollum head or a Smeagol head.
