DC Launches DCKids.com

March 14, 2003 - Young comics fans can check out what's new from the DC Comics at our brand new website www.DCKids.com.

The site offers previews of upcoming comics, looks at DC Direct items, plus games and cartoons featuring the Powerpuff Girls, Gotham Girls, Static Shock, the Zeta Project and more.

"The new site not only has lots of fun stuff for our young readers, but it's also a great place for kids to become introduced to our characters and their amazing worlds," says Richard Bruning, DC's VP - Creative Director. "Though we're starting out modestly here, we're adding new content appropriate to our youthful fans on a regular basis. Naturally, it's our hope that visitors to the site will like what they see enough to seek out the comics and toys - which is why the site also includes the online Comics Shop Locator."

DCKids.com is also accessible via a click-through button at DCComics.com.
