Warner Bros. Consumer Products has signed new toy licensees for properties such as the Powerpuff Girls, Looney Tunes and the Wizard of Oz. For the Powerpuff Girls, Warner Bros. has signed Basic Fun for keychains, Colorbok/Flying Colors for activity kits and flashlights, Toy Network for bean bag plush and U.S. Playing Cards for playing cards and card games.

In the realm of DC Comics Super Heroes, Alexander Doll will produce Wonder Woman dolls, pins and figurines. Hasbro Direct will offer articulated PVC figures of various characters.

Revell plans Superman Racing model car kits. For Looney Tunes, Hedstrom will produce play balls and Play By Play will manufacture plush toys.

New manufacturers of Wizard of Oz products include Mattel for dolls and dress-up kits, and Pressman for puzzles. Merchandising of the Cartoon Network will grow with plush from Play By Play and action figures, vehicles and dolls from Trendmasters.
