More Kubricks: Boy, Girl, EVA & Trigun

May 2002 - Continuing the building-block style figure craze, fans can add to their collections with four new Kubrick sets, imported from Japan and available exclusively through Diamond Comic Distributors.

Kubricks have become some of the most popular collectibles today, spawning many imitators. Their compact size, detachable parts, and replication of some of the most popular pop-culture properties have made them a hit among collectors. And fervent fans will not want to miss out on Medicom of Japan's latest offerings.

These building block figures have everything a Kubrick collector could want. First, continuing in the popular line of Neon Genesis Evangelion Kubricks comes the Neon Genesis Evangelion Kubrick Box Set J, featuring Keel Lorenz, Gendo Ikari, Yui Ikari, Seele 01 Monolith, and Adam, the first Angel, aka the Glowing Giant! It includes connecting display bases with a full color backdrop scene, and contains four Kubricks at the regular price of three!

Kicking off the Trigun line comes the Trigun Kubrick Box Set A, a release from Diamond Select Toys and Medicom. This set includes Vash the Stampede, with a gun, optional transformer gun hand, and two faces (one with glasses and one without); his sidekick Wolfwood, with a cross weapon; and Monev the Gale, with a removable helmet. Each figure stands 2.5" tall and can be disassembled into component building block parts.

Finally, for the Kubrick collector who has everything, comes the Kubrick Boys Customizing Set #2 and the Kubrick Girls Customizing Set #2! The Boys set includes a generic male body plus three hair styles, six head accessories, a snowboard, a backpack, water bottle, a vest, and parka, while the Girls set includes a generic female body plus nine hair styles, six head accessories, a snowboard, blouse, bag, parka, and muffler to create original Kubricks! Scheduled to ship in August 2002, these are sets that no fan of Kubricks will want to miss!
