LEGO Star Wars: Clone Wars Online Game

Three Melons and the LEGO Group heat up the web with a brand new LEGO® Star Wars game

"Choose your side and join the greatest battle the galaxy has ever seen!"

Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 14th - Three Melons has teamed up with the LEGO Group once again, this time to deliver a Unity 3D game based on the well-known Lucas Arts' Clone Wars Chronicles.

The game begins when, lost in space, R2-D2 starts emitting a distress call without knowing that his signal contains the blueprints to build a powerful secret starship. Whoever can amplify that signal will get both the droid location and this unique new weapon! The war between Separatists and Republicans is imminent!

The story-based role playing game is packed with action, humor and rich visuals. Players can choose to join either side of the Clone Wars conflict and fight their way to victory.

The game challenges players to be creative while they learn about the new LEGO® models and the exciting Star Wars Universe interacting with memorable characters such as, Anakin Skywalker™, Obi Wan Kenobi™ and Count Dooku™, among others.

"It was a great pleasure to work with our friends at the LEGO Group one more time," said Pablo Mayer, Game Producer at Three Melons. He added, "We are thrilled to have the chance to work with such a rich IP as Star Wars, which we are all fans of. And the opportunity came with perfect timing, because we now possess all the capabilities needed to create the game we had always dreamed of."

"Making a game for the LEGO Star Wars franchise is not an easy task," said Sten Lysdahl, Internet Content Manager at the LEGO Group and added, "Even though it is not a video game, expectations are still very high. Online advergames are an important part of our online strategy and we are very pleased with the work done by our continuous partner, Three Melons, in this project. To be honest the result is amazing and we are certain that the kids and fans will feel the same."

The full game will consist of fifteen levels to be released throughout the year, which will include an asynchronous multiplayer option and a few other special features. The first teaser is online now and ready to be played at: http://starwars.LEGO.com
