June 2008 - Every couple of weeks, Mattel will answer three questions per web site about their various product lines. Here are the answers for the past few questions:
1. Is there a more precise date as to when Target exclusive JLU will start appearing on store shelves?
Answer: Around mid August.
2. Just HOW awesome will San Diego Comic Con's display be this year? - any highlights you care to get us drooling over in advance?
Answer: By far this will be our most amazing presence ever. We will have raffles for limited edition items, special guests and surprises galore. We'll have more details in the coming weeks but want to hold off on announcing anything until it is locked down. We can tell you that MOTU fans will not want to miss out. We have some very special surprises for them to help kick of the new MOTU Classics line.
3. Why has distribution of most DC figs lately been a problem? (another reader asked a similar question: Besides ebay, where I can I buy DCUC?)
Answer: In order to improve product quality we recently changed vendors over seas and this put us a little behind schedule. We are rapidly catching up and the product announced for 2008 should still be shipping before the year is up!
