June 2008 Mattel Q&A (Round 2)

June 2008 - Every couple of weeks, Mattel will answer three questions per web site about their various product lines. Here are the answers for the past few questions:

1. The 10-inch Justice Lords Batman was released in Brazil - when will it be released in the United States?

Answer: Justice Lords Batman has shipped to the US. Rite Aid and Krogers have both placed orders for this product while Target and TRU have not. Mattel can only ship product to customers who order it for their shelves. If you are not seeing your favorite Mattel lines at your local retailer be sure to contact them directly and let them know what you would like to buy!

2. Will the cases for the JLU 3-packs that contain the refreshers (Volcana, Deadshot... etc) that BigBadToyStore.com and other online stores ordered still be filled before the Target exclusive status starts?

Answer: Those cases will be shipped if we receive enough orders for them. In order to go into production our factories require what is called an MOQ (minimum order quantity) for all products. If the MOQ is not met on these case assortments we cannot put them into production.

If they do not go into production we will work on getting these characters out in new mixes later on in the line.

3. When you get to Plastic Man, would you consider doing him Collect & Connect so that we would get both normal and streched out bendy limbs?

Answer: A great suggestion and one that we do have on the short list of possibilities!
