June 2008 - Where's my Hippo???

The RTM-exclusive Shield of Draumm action figure, the Hippo variant from the 2007 FANtastic Exclusive project from the Four Horsemen, has indeed landed at the RTM home base! For a short time, we were waiting for the stickers (to go on the figure's packaging) to also arrive so that we could ship the figures out with the stickers.

We are going down the list of pre-orders in the same order in which they were placed. Since we don't sell anything (other than our Hippo), we don't have a physical store or warehouse or a staff of box-packers (or even a Mighty Fwoosh Elephant Mailing Machine)... this means that it will take us a bit of time to get them all processed.

So please do not panic (or overpay on eBay!) if you haven't heard from us yet about your pre-order from last year. We promise that we will indeed get to you, it's just that we're contacting only a manageable number of people at a time to make sure that no one falls through the cracks.

We are hoping to get through all of the domestic (U.S.) pre-orders by the end of June or early July. Then we'll work on the international orders, and then move on to the waiting list.

And a footnote about the stickers... Bobbi is bad at stickers, so they are being taped lovingly onto the packing slips. Once you receive your package, just fish out the packing slip, and voila, there will be your sticker which you can then either place on the Hippo's bubble or use in some other similar sticker-like fashion.
