First Appearances

The First Appearances action figures from DC Direct do as their name implies - they showcase each character as they first appeared in comic books. Each 6-inch scale action figure will come packaged with a 4-color mini-reproduction of the first comic book in which they appeared.

Series One should be in stores on June 30, 2004, and consists of:

• Batman (6.5" tall, 12 points of articulation, cloth cape, Detective Comics #27)
• Shazam! (6.5" tall, 12 points of articulation, cloth cape, Whiz Comics #1)
• The Flash (6.5" tall, 12 points of articulation, Flash Comics #1)
• Wonder Woman (6.375" tall, 14 points of articulation, cloth cape, All Star Comics #8)

Series Two should be in stores on November 17, 2004, and consists of:

• Superman (6.625" tall, 11 points of articulation, lined cloth cape, Action Comics #1)
• Robin (5.625" tall, 11 points of articulation, lined cloth cape, Detective Comics #35)
• Green Lantern (6.625" tall, 11 points of articulation, lined cloth cape, lantern, All American Comics #16)
• Hawkman (6.625" tall, 11 points of articulation, sword, shield, removable helmet, Flash Comics #1)
