breakage issues abound. Not sure why this always happens with Aliens toys, but NECA latest line is having big time breakage issues with all 3 figures in wave one. I got rid of my McFarlance Aliens years ago because of breakage problems, the worst was the small arms on the Alien Queen.
Once again it's the brittle/weak joints to blame, same thing happened with NECA's God War Figures years ago. I did open the Alien and had no issues, but my Hicks figure has a very weak right elbow and super loose left ankle. He can't stay standing, might have to glue it shut. Anyway, I know a lot of people want these, and in case you haven't heard, treat them with kids gloves.
Lots of good stuff coming this year. The showstopper has got to be Voyager Rhinox, that figure looks like it would qualify as a Masterpiece, it's pretty amazing looking. Deluxe Waspinator isn't very far behind him. Sounds like Hasbro is working on a new Megatron, too. Wonder if that means they won't be using that FOC Grimlock with the Megatron head we saw prototyped before.
It's also nice to see the Legends two-packs are playing with G1 scale. Three of the four new ones are Minibots Cosmos, Swerve, and Tailgate, and all three come with remakes of Micromasters. The fourth one is Shrapnel, which is too bad because I'd love to see the G1 Insecticons redone in Deluxe scale but he comes with a mini Reflector so that's nice. Maybe they'll make the rest of the Insecticons later.
Deluxe Armada Starscream is also being made so I guess we all get to hunt for Seekers again, just hope future repaints get Skywarp's head right.
The wave of New NECA products continue to hit TRU. Today I found the Pacific Rim Figures, Lone Ranger, and Predator Wave 9 on the pegs. For some reason, my local TRU has the NECA, McFarlane, and Diamond Select stuff split in 2 areas: one spot in the regular action figure section, and the other by the video games. So while I went to the spot in the R Zone, where the last wave of Predators had been stocked, the employees stocked the latest Predator wave in the other action figure aisle by the sad Terminator exclusives, and right into the hands of a local scalper. As I walked over there, I saw him leave the aisle with 2 Muddy Dutches and 2 Shirtless Dutches. The figures he left were trashed, but I bought the Dutches for opening anyway. The Pacific Rim figures are there in sculpt, but the paint apps are sloppy and looked rushed. Same paint problems with the Lone Ranger figures, big step back in paint apps from the Predator line. Was hoping for Aliens Wave 1, but maybe next week. Good Luck.
Cool Sectaurs review. Oh and these dudes are the same size MOTU Classics.

Well folks when your collection begins to overshadow your craft it's time to whip out the scythe and start culling. In this case it's EVERYTHING. If it was a figure line made in the last 10 years it's probably here. Loose and packaged Marvel Legends, SOTA Street Fighter, Figma Samus/Link/Megaman, Transformers, Halo, comic/movie statues and busts, kotobukiya Robocop, NECA, mezco figures, I mean everything. All if it adult owned and displayed under glass. Everything starts at a penny and shipping is cheap, also combining shipping for free as much as I can. A lot of the figures have been modded or customized like I'm known for to look better. Akuma has a ceramic beaded necklace, the Annihilus BAF has new colors, two heads with a closed mouth for one, etc. I'm still customizing but this massive figure collection takes up too much room and has to go. Your job? Buy it and enjoy it just like I did!
Jin Saotome's Secret Collection on eBay!
Have fun and good luck bidding!
I've been anxious to have these since announced at TF in Feb...July can't come fast enough
Anyone else fiending as well?
I only recently discovered these things, and was able to get a full set of DC Series 1 (just got Reverse-Flash yesterday, and Justice Lords Superman today!). These things are pretty neat! A friend also got me Captain America and Green Hulk from Marvel Series 1, and I'm lookin' forward to getting more of 'em.
I'd realized, too, how you can play with these figures! You can substitute 'em for Monopoly game pieces, and increase your fun immeasurably! Heh. It'd make sense for Joker to want to have Water Works so he CAN poison Gotham City!
What's the consensus on these things? Do youse guys like 'em? I don't believe for a SECOND I'm the only guy who likes 'em! LOL
Just wanted to toss in me 2 cents!
Gernot...
It may be a bit early to ask, but have they said one way or another?
So I've got a bunch of 80's Tonka trucks that are still being stored in my parents basement. They are trying to sell their house and need them out. I don't really have the room to store them but not sure if I want to part with them becuase I might have one more kid (first was a boy). That's a big if and even if we did, it really won't matter to him that he's playing with my old beat up toys or new ones of his own to beat up.
I just want to know if they are worth anything before I get ripped off in garage sale. Any help would be appreciated
