Viva Pinata™ Parties into Burger King Restaurants Across the Globe
NEW YORK -- Oct. 9, 2007 -- 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., the children's entertainment and merchandise licensing powerhouse, Microsoft Game Studios, and Rare, Ltd., announced today a global promotional partnership with Burger King Corporation for the hit children's property Viva Pinata. Collectible Viva Pinata premiums - based on the exciting Saturday morning animated series on 4Kids TV and video game developed for Xbox 360™ - will be available exclusively with the purchase of any BK® Kids Meal October 8 through November 4, 2007 at participating Burger King restaurants, or while supplies last. In-restaurant dates vary for participating markets.
Each BK Kids Meal will include one of the eight loveable characters from Viva Pinata, a mass entertainment property featuring a vibrant world of living pinata animals filled with spontaneity and fun. Each pinata character includes one of two different surprise toys inside. Characters include Hudson Horstachio (Viva Pinata fortune spinner or lenticular card), Franklin Fizzlybear (Viva Pinata 3D puzzle or flip book), Fergy Fudgehog (Viva Pinata sticker dispenser or kaleidoscope), Mongo Macaraccoon Sour (Viva Pinata party knocker or block puzzler), Ella Elephanilla (Viva Pinata flying disc or kazoo), Spalding Sparrowmint (Viva Pinata foot sack or party light), Gordon Goobaa (Viva Pinata viewer or launcher) and Cecil Cocoadile (Viva Pinata maze craze or yo-yo).
