WAYNE, NJ (September 25, 2007) - Toys "R" Us has announced the opening of a 25,000 square-foot temporary location in New York City's NoHo neighborhood, designed to cater to holiday shoppers. Located at 692 Broadway, in the former Tower Records building, this pop-up store will officially open on October 1 and will operate through January 31, 2008.

In addition to offering the hottest toys of the holiday season, the four-level store will also feature a selection of perennial favorites such as dolls, action figures, electronics and educational toys. Visitors to New York will also find a unique assortment of souvenir products that capture the spirit of New York City and the magic of Toys "R" Us, with everything from familiar keepsakes to personalized and New York-branded items.

"As the busy holiday shopping season approaches, we are pleased to offer another convenient location in New York City to assist families with all their toy-buying needs," said Ron Boire, President, Toys "R" Us, North America. "This temporary site is a great complement to our international flagship store in Times Square, and we are excited to offer shoppers access to The World's Greatest Toy Store in the busy NoHo neighborhood."

Decorated in multi-color stars and white snowflakes, with whimsical Geoffrey motifs and brilliant colors throughout, the store will provide customers with a convenient shopping destination for their holiday gift-buying needs. Special services* will include gift wrapping, home delivery for Manhattan residents, and UPS shipping options. In addition, from November 1 through December 24, customers will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa.

The store will be open for regular hours of operation, Monday through Thursday 10 am - 10 pm; Friday and Saturday 10 am - 11 pm; and Sunday 11 am - 9 pm. Expanded hours to accommodate holiday shoppers will commence on Friday, November 23.
