eh_starkraven_fig.jpg - 12892 BytesA dramatic new action figure toy line, Stark Raven, will roll into national distribution this Fall with an five-piece Collectors Shadow Box Edition of fully articulated nine-inch characters based on the hot new Stark Raven comic book series and a planned animated TV series for Fall, 2001.

Endless Horizons Entertainment Inc. announced that its Stark Raven action figures will be marketed in dramatically designed diorama sets, with new assortments of four to six figures released every three months, tied to the Stark Raven comic book series.

Ken Smith, creator of Stark Raven and President of Endless Horizons, said, "The storyline of Stark Raven is deep and rich in material that transfers to a unique toy line that will ignite the imaginations of Stark Ravens loyal fans. Our first issue of the Stark Raven comic book was released last month and was clearly the most successful new release of the season. Orders for the second issue were dramatically higher than we expected, and comic book fans have generated an exciting word of mouth buzz about Stark Raven."

The Collectors Edition will be available through a growing number of national outlets, such as Spencers and KB Toys, as well as through Diamond Distributors to comic book shops, as well as TNC Universe, Fandom and other collectible specialists, including right here at the RTM Store.

Ken Smith said, "Our strategy of publishing, toys and TV to support our launch of Stark Raven is designed to maximize impact in the marketplace for long-term success. "

He added, "In addition to the animation planned for the Fall of next year, we are planning a 90-minute animated special to debut as a direct to home video movie next Spring. The Fall TV animated series will include 26 half-hour TV episodes and we are in discussions with entertainment outlets in the U.S. and worldwide to bring the excitement of Stark Raven to as many fans as possible."

Stark Raven, a brooding hero whose disguise reflects his psyche, has the penetrating mind of a genius whose intellect is unquantifiable, whose cunning is unmatched, and whose physique is like chiseled stone. Stark Raven possesses no superpowers beyond his indomitable will. His mind and his body are his weapons. His invented tools of combat are forged by the fire of his determination. Stark Raven is a guardian of right who uses his intellect and ingenuity to bring justice to the oppressed, to help the unfortunate and to correct a grievous wrong done him by his nemesis, Stingrayzor and his evil accomplices in the secret Network of Elite Soldiers and Technology, or N.E.S.T.

In addition to Stark Raven, the action figure collection includes:

  • Stingrayzor, Commander of N.E.S.T.
  • Cobretta, The Beautiful, Brash, Fighting Machine For Right
  • Scorpion, The Grim Ripper
  • Lunacy, The Female Assassin
  • Deathshadow, N.E.S.T. soldier who stalks Vinny, who has an alternate transparent upper body
  • Helix, Stephanie and others.
