Proceeds Benefit Hero Initiative for Comic Book Creators in Need
Earlier this year, Marvel Comics created blank-covered editions of the landmark Ultimate Spider-Man #100 and gave them to The Hero Initiative - the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book artists in need. The Initiative then had a variety of famous comic artists pen original drawings on the covers, to be sold or auctioned at conventions.

McFARLANE TOYS TO ATTEND MLB ALL-STAR FAN FEST
Plus, Five Lucky Winners Will Score the Two-figure Set!
McFarlane Toys has brought a set of exclusive figures to the MLB All-Star Fan Fest since 2003, and this summer we'll be arriving in San Francisco with two more figures for our collectors. We're saluting both sets of Bay area fans with Exclusive figures of San Francisco's Barry Bonds and Oakland's Reggie Jackson. These figures will be for sale at our booth in the MLB All-Star Fan Fest in the Moscone Center West on the Third Floor in the Collector's Showcase area, July 6-10 in San Francisco. The figures are expected to sell for $15 each or $25 for the pair; prices include tax. Each player has a production run of only 3,000 figures.

John McClane Goes One-on-one with SPAWN!
For those of you who have been waiting patiently for Spawn to appear in another movie, the time has come. Within the first two minutes of this summer's blockbuster action flick Live Free or Die Hard, Bruce Willis's character, John McClane, picks up a 12-inch Spawn Issue 7 Cover Art figure that belongs to the young hacker (Justin Long) about to be taken in for questioning by the FBI.
