PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- Dec. 1, 2005 -- Today, PLAYSKOOL, a division of Hasbro, announced the launch of a celebrity auction to benefit the National Center for Boundless Playgrounds®. A number of celebrities including Steven Spielberg, Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller and Paul Newman have autographed, and in some cases designed, their own one-of-a-kind MR. POTATO HEAD toy. The collection will be listed in a charity auction on eBay.com December 1 - 10 to raise funds and awareness about the importance of play for all children, with and without disabilities.

PLAYSKOOL is donating $250,000 through 2006 to support Boundless Playgrounds' efforts to help more communities build universally accessible playgrounds. PLAYSKOOL has also included informational brochures in its product packages and features information on playskool.com to further raise awareness about this important cause.
