How Do Kubricks Stack Up To Old Favorites?

kubricksizecomp.jpg - 12400 Bytes

Ever since Medicom Toy's Kubrick line was announced folks have been curious how the small building-block styled action figures stack up next to established favorites such as LEGO people, and Playmobile.

Sizewise, and stylewise, Kubricks fall right in the center. As seen in the photo above, Kubricks are considerably larger than LEGO people, and slightly smaller than Playmobile. They offer greater articulation than either, however, thanks to the ball-socket joints in the shoulders and hips.

Kubricks sheer "coolness-factor" lies in the various properties that have appeared, or will appear, as part of the product line. Medicom is tapping the anime mine with properties such as Devilman, Tetsujin 28 (aka Gigantor), Votoms, and Neon Genesis Evangelion as well as movie properties like Planet of the Apes and the Blair Witch Project.

Most Kubrick sets will be offered through Diamond Comic's Previews catalog. Stay tuned to RTM for the latest Kubrick action.
