MORRISVILLE, NC - February, 2005 - Inkworks and Fox Licensing & Merchandising announce the release of ROBOTS: THE MOVIE PREMIUM TRADING CARDS, which are based on Twentieth Century Fox's new movie, ROBOTS. From the Academy Award® winning creators of the global blockbuster hit ICE AGE comes the visually spectacular world of ROBOTS. Inkworks brings the clanky, loveable characters and story from the film to an amazing collection of trading cards that will be available on March 2, 2005.

THE MOVIE

In the film, you'll meet memorable robot Rodney Copperbottom, a young genius inventor who dreams of making the world a better place; Cappy, a savvy executive robot at Bigweld Industries; the evil corporate tyrant Ratchet who locks horns with Rodney; Bigweld, the majestic inventor who inspires Rodney and all robots to "Shine No Matter What You're Made Of"; and a group of ragtag robots known as the Rusties. Experience ROBOTS' magical characters and their incredible world with the movie's theatrical release on MARCH 11, 2005!

THE CARDS

The 90-card base set features Movie Story Cards, Character Cards, Growing Up Cards, Robot Powered Cards, Stand-ups and Behind The Scenes Cards. Plus, Inkworks has added randomly inserted bonus cards into Hobby-Exclusive boxes to make it even more collectible:

- SKETCH CARDS - ONE PER HOBBY BOX! Individually, sequentially numbered cards from 12 different fan-favorite artists: Dave Dorman, Tone Rodriguez, John Czop, Chris Moreno, Chad Frye, Mark Dos Santos, Jeff Zugale, Joel Gomez, Nar, Warren Martineck, Michael Kraiger, and Darren Auck. Each of these cards is a unique hand drawn work of art. Images of all of the sketch cards can be seen on the Inkworks web site. (12 different artists - Inserted appx. 1:36 packs).

- RUSTIES TO THE RESCUE CARDS - Nine crazy foil cards featuring your favorite "Rusties." (9 cards - Inserted appx. 1:11 packs).

- FENDER BENDER CARDS - Six foil and embossed cards featuring hilarious quotes from the film. (6 cards - Inserted appx. 1:17 packs).

- POSTCARDS FROM THE BIG CITY - Six movie film cards - tour the city with your favorite characters on amazing film cards!

- PLUS, three box loader cards (1 per box) and one special case loader card (1 per case).

Packs of ROBOTS: THE MOVIE PREMIUM TRADING CARDS have a suggested retail price of $2.49. Each pack contains seven cards with 36 packs in each sealed display box. A ROBOTS: THE MOVIE collector album (SRP $19.95) has been created for this set.
