NECA: Sin City Marv Figure

marv action figure

January 2005 - NECA: Marv, Marv, Marv!

Basin City is infested with lowly criminals, crooked cops and deviously sexy dames. A collection of interweaving stories all based within this fabled city, Sin City will be coming to theatre screens thanks to it's original creator Frank Miller and movie maker Robert Rodriguez's collaboration. Frank Miller's genius stories, which were published in comic book/graphic novel form, have a rich noir and pulp look and feel. The challenge in bringing these fantastic stories to life was retaining that look, and Troublemaker Studios sure has done the job.

The Sin City movie comes out on Friday, April 1st, but as we are no fools, and neither are you, we decided to make EVERY Friday till then, Sin Day. Yes, I know we already have a Sunday, but this is SIN Day. Please take notice of the different vowel used. Anyhow, what you can expect for Sin Days is exactly what you are getting today. We will give you a new shot of a Sin City Action figure, some background on the character, information on the movie, and an extra added little bonus at http://www.necaonline.com. Shall we get started?

Marv: The biggest bad-ass in all of Basin City. He's a borderline psychopath on a mission to find the killer of his beloved Goldie, and he will stop at nothing until he uncovers the truth. All it took was one night for Goldie to be cemented into his heart for ever, and now he must find who is responsible for her death. Marv will be part of Series I which should be hitting stores in late March. The majority of the figures in Series I will be produced in black and white, with a smaller number of "Chase" figures in full color. There will be an 18" Marv as well, along with some exclusives to be announced soon.
