MALIBU, Calif. -- November 16, 2004 -- Exclusive Hillbilly Jim Action Figure to Hit the Heartland of America Again on the Road to WrestleMania(R) 21 Tour.
JAKKS Pacific, Inc. and World Wrestling Entertainment(R) are teaming up to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation with a limited-edition, exclusive Hillbilly Jim action figure. JAKKS Pacific will provide 5000 never-before-released figures, which WWE(R) will sell on the second annual Road to WrestleMania 21 Tour.
Hillbilly Jim is a classic WWE superstar from the 1980s who faced such notable opponents as King Kong Bundy and Andre the Giant. Now the wrestling star is returning to the spotlight for charity, and all sales proceeds of the highly collectible Hillbilly Jim action figures will support the Make a Wish Foundation initiatives.
The Road to WrestleMania 21 Tour is an eleven-week mobile marketing tour scheduled to launch at the home of WWE World Headquarters in Connecticut on January 21. The tour will make stops in 15 major markets across the country as it heads westward, culminating at WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 3.
