Mage Knight Takes Another Top Honor

July 19, 2004 (SEATTLE) - WizKids Inc., makers of the best-selling HeroClix® and MLB™ SportsClix™ collectable miniatures games (CMGs), is proud to announce that their Mage Knight™ fantasy CMG won the coveted Best Game of 2004 award from Hobby Outlook Magazine.

"We are honored to be presented with the Best Game award," said Jordan Weisman, WizKids® CEO. "We value the opinions of our retailers, and this small token of their appreciation for our efforts means a lot to us." The Hobby Outlook Awards are voted on by members of the Hobby Town USA network of retail stores.

The Mage Knight fantasy CMG received a massive upgrade in 2003, with features such as domains, relics and interchangeable mounts and riders revolutionizing the miniatures gaming world a second time.

The Hobby Outlook Best Game of 2004 award follows a bevy of awards WizKids received at the 2004 Origins International Game Expo, including Game of the Year for Indy HeroClix.

Founded by 20-year game-industry veteran Jordan Weisman, WizKids is a Seattle-based game developer and publisher dedicated to creating tabletop games driven by imagination. Its Mage Knight, MechWarrior®, MLB™ SportsClix and HeroClix CMGs are among the most successful games on the market today, and the company has sold hundreds of millions of figures worldwide. WizKids' games are fully supported with organized play at conventions and retail venues. For additional information, visit wizkidsgames.com.
