diamond logo

June 25, 2004 - Diamond Comic Distributors and Previews are lining up several exciting exclusives at both Comic-Con International: San Diego and Wizard World: Chicago this year. Each is part of a very limited production run and will make a fantastic addition to any collection!

The four exclusives, each of which will be available at Comic-Con International: San Diego and Wizard World: Chicago, are:

Marvel MiniMates: Gaijin Wolverine & Mariko Yashida Convention Exclusive Two-Pack

Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles is offering fans the chance to get their hands on a big addition to the world of smaller-sized toys! This two-pack, which contains the Gaijin Wolverine and Mariko Yashida depicts Logan and his love interest as they appeared in the groundbreaking Wolverine limited series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller!

Limited to 5000 pieces, these figures both stand approximately 2" tall and feature 14 points of articulation.

Marvel Universe: '90s Dazzler 2004 Convention Exclusive Bust

A former member of Marvel Comics' most popular super-team, the X-Men, Allison Blaire - a.k.a. Dazzler - made her first appearance in the now-classic Uncanny X-Men #130, and took comicdom by storm via her solo adventures in the popular self-titled series, Dazzler. Sculpted by SOTA, the Marvel Universe: '90s Dazzler 2004 Convention

Exclusive Bust is the perfect companion piece to Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles' Marvel Universe: Dazzler Bust (depicting the mutant heroine as she first appeared in the early 1980s) and the Marvel Universe: Longshot Bust (the mutant, interdimensional hero and Dazzler's romantic interest).

Limited to only 600 pieces in North America for this summer's conventions - and not offered through Diamond Comic Distributors' Previews catalog - the bust also comes fully painted; ready to display; and features a full-color, hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Devil May Cry: Previews Exclusive Dante Mini Figure

This is the Deep Red edition repaint of Dante from Devil May Cry, available nowhere else except Diamond... not even Japan! It features a dark red jacket, different shade of red outfit, blood-splattered boots, blood-splattered sword, and base covered with blood.

This figure is limited to 1000 pieces and sold in sealed boxes, just like the normal trading figure series, but each box contains the exact same figure and has a sticker on the outside announcing its exclusivity.

Onegai (Please) Teacher: Mizuho Kazami Summer 2004 Convention Exclusive

From the popular manga/anime series Onegai (Please) Teacher, comes this limited, exclusive Mizuho Kazami! Mizuho is a resident observer of the Galaxy Federation, who came to Earth to find out more about her departed human father who only left her a single box of Pochy candy to remember him by. As the new teacher and "wife" of Kei Kusanagi, Mizuho must trust Kei with her secret identity.

This piece is limited to 2004 pieces, sculpted by Tsukuru Shirashige, and stands approximately 3" tall.

All of these figures will be available for retailers to purchase from Diamond either before the show by calling their sales representatives or during the show at the Diamond/Previews booth (#2401). Fans can pick them up during the show at dealer booths.

Don't miss this chance to get these limited 2004 summer exclusives!
