McFarlane Toys usually has several contests going at the same time - some are on their message boards, but they are all listed on their central page for contests.

Action-HQ.com and Ching & Co are having an Asian Designer Vinyl Figure Contest. The prize is a choice of several designer action figures. Visit their contest page for more details. Enter by March 31st.

LittlePlasticMen is having a Hellboy contest. The prize package is a Hellboy movie one-sheet and journal, both signed by director Guillermo del Toro and creator Mike Mignola. (The one-sheet also has a Hellboy sketch on it by Mike Mignola.) This contest ends on March 31st.

The Outer Reaches has a new toy contest every month, enter by identifying their "movie quote of the week" - name the movie the quote is from (and get a bonus entry for naming the character who said it).

KidRobot.com often has contests for members of their mailing list. You need to sign up for the list to enter the contest.

MillionairePlayboy.com often has contests for action figures and other toys, as well as the occasional DVD or bit of cool swag.

The fine folks over at WhoClix are having a contest in preparation for the Marvel Universe re-issue set of Marvel HeroClix from WizKids Games. The Marvel Universe set will feature revamped figural pieces from the Infinity Challenge and Xplosion sets. To enter the contest, you'll need to submit a character bio of one of the characters from the Marvel Universe set. The prizes will include HeroClix figures. Enter by April 30, 2004. For more details, visit the WhoClix Marvel Universe contest page.

If you have lots of free time, check out Contests.About.com, where Tom has found a mind-boggling number of contests and sweepstakes for you to enter, including a contest of his own, with a Beanie Bear as the prize. He has three pages of links for toy contests: daily entry, weekly/monthly entry, and single entry contests.

More pages with lots of contests to enter, although the prizes are not usually toys or action figures:

  • Maxim - It is probably best to enter these contests at home rather than at work.
  • Sony Pictures - contests which tie in to new Sony films, including Hellboy
  • Time Warner Bookmark - win books
  • UGO - often movie-related
