- A preview image has been posted of the 12-inch Abe Sapien action figure in the Hellboy movie series. This version of Abe has two interchangeable heads.

- A preview has been posted of the Santi statue, part of a box set with a DVD of the Devil's Backbone, another film by Hellboy director Guillermo del Toro.

- The 12-inch Faith action figure in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series is now available for pre-orders on Sideshow's site. The first 500 pre-orders will receive an exclusive accessory, the Slayer Scythe. Faith will be available in May/June 2004.

- Part of the 2004 lineup for the Sideshow/Weta Lord of the Rings product line has been announced, with more to be announced during Toy Fair in February. (Pictures will also be available during Toy Fair, although pre-orders will be available on the Sideshow/Weta web site on January 22.)

In addition to the previously announced King Elessar statue and Uruk-Hair Berserker statue, the items announced are:
