DC Direct Returns To The Golden Age

dcd_jsa_collage.jpg - 10516 BytesDC Direct, the merchandise arm of DC Comics, has done it yet again with the latest wave of figures announced by the fan favorite company.

This new assortment of highly-detailed, fully-articulated action figures has the orginal Justice Society of America as it's theme. This wave consists of four figures: Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Alan Scott), The Flash (Jay Garrick), and Starman (Ted Knight).

The Justice Society of America, a precursor to the later Justice League of America, first formed in All-Star Comics #3, published in 1940. The JSA was comprised of characters who, at the time, didn't have their own comic book series.
