Jackie Chan To Get Animated on Kids WB This Fall

 Kids WB is scheduled to announce their fall lineup today, which is expected to include the much anticipated new animated X-Men series, as well as a Jackie Chan animated series called Jackie Chan Adventures.13 episodes of the Jackie Chan Adventures will be produced by Sony for the network. Could this series serve as a precursor to action figures? There's been no word as of yet, but it would seem to be a natural. There are, of course, the previously announced series of 12" collectors figures from Dragon Models that will begin to be released this year but an animated series would be the perfect impetus to launch a full kid-targeted action figure line. Kids WB programming is well represented in the toy stores. The only major action-oriented program that hasn't had a toyline to date has been Men in Black, which will be getting a great looking line from Toy Site later this year.
