TinyTag: Invented by 6-yr-old

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Aug. 7 -- Sean Anderson, a six year old inventor may have created this year's hottest Christmas Toy.

Sean invented a toy he named TinyTag (TM), a miniature game of laser tag that fits on a key ring.

"I invented it by accident," said Sean, now eight years old. "My father, who was unemployed at the time, was watching Oprah on television. I came in the room with my laser gun and my dad returned fire with the channel turner. I picked up the car keys with the car door remote and fired back. That's where the idea started."

TinyTag(TM), which has a range of 50 feet, comes with two devices per
package. The toy is currently on the shelves at over 1,000 toy and specialty stores across the US and can be found at Spencer Gifts and Learning Express stores nationwide.

TinyTag(TM) is unique because it's the first laser tag game that does not have a gun form-factor.

"Parent's are concerned about their children playing with simulated guns," said Mark Anderson, Sean's father.

According to the International Health & Epidemiology Research Center there have been 43 deaths attributed to simulated guns including one from a youth holding a laser tag gun.

TinyTag(TM) is the size of matchbox and resembles a car door remote. Kids just push the big green button and point it at another device. When someone gets tagged the device peppers that person with comments like "knucklehead, lamebrain," said Mark Anderson. "All around it's very kid-safe. It uses the same technology as a television channel turner, in fact you can even use a channel turner to play."

According to Anderson, "We've received offers from some of the largest toy manufacturers in the world to buy the rights to the TinyTag(TM) product, but decided to manufacture it and distribute it on our own. We're now at the point where we quote customers by the shipping container."

TinyTags(TM) comes in three colors; black, glow-in-the-dark green, and glow-in-the-dark purple. The suggested retail price of a pair of TinyTags(TM) is $14.99 including batteries and can be seen at the company's web site, www.SeanO.com.

SeanO(TM) Corporation was founded in 2001 and is located in Westborough, MA. SeanO(TM) designs manufacturers and distributes high quality miniaturized toys throughout the US.
