DF/Moore Wolverine Diorama

wolverine statue

July 28, 2003, Runnemede, NJ - Due to the success and instant sell out of the Mary Jane Bust - Dynamic Forces and Master Sculptor Clayburn Moore are releasing a sneak peak with some additional information about their next collaboration!

"With Mary Jane fresh off the water, and freshly sold-out, and the great feedback we received at the annual San Diego Comic Con - we wanted to make sure we gave everyone a first look at this next awesome piece well enough in advance, so we don't have any disappointed fans this time around," said Nick Barrucci, President of Dynamic Forces. "I strongly encourage all fans checking out this diorama statue and letting their local retailers know it's coming, and to add it to their pre-order list!"

The Wolverine Diorama Statue will be listed in all November-shipping distributor catalogs. The item is scheduled to ship in December.

Barrucci added, "This item, in our opinion the best Wolverine ever designed and sculpted, is definitely something to pre-order for Christmas. If not for yourself, definitely for that "X"-fan on your list!"

Standing approximately 10" tall, and present in 1/6th scale, this piece depicts the feral mutant as he appeared in the classic Hellfire Club storyline -- which ran in Uncanny X-Men #'s 129 through 134, by the legendary team of Chris Claremont and John Byrne.

"I think Wolverine is one of the most fascinating characters in comics since his first appearance in the Incredible Hulk," said Moore. "Chris Claremont and John Byrne helped establish Wolverine as one of Marvel's signature characters, so when Nick Barrucci of Dynamic Forces approached me about sculpting a scene from the famous Hellfire Club story arc, I was thrilled. It was a challenging piece to sculpt and I hope Wolverine fans will feel I did Logan justice."

More information on the project, including final pricing, and additional ordering info, will be released in the coming weeks.
