X-Men Classics & Marvel Studios

July 2003 - Toy Biz has released these images of their upcoming X-Men Classics and Marvel Studios action figures.

The next Marvel Studios action figure, shown above, will be the Hugh Jackman Wolverine from the X2: X-Men United film. This 12-inch action figure comes with interchangeable hands so that he can be displayed with either fists or with his claws extended. Expect to see him in stores in December 2003, with a suggested retail of $39.99 USD.

The first series of X-Men action figures will be in stores in January 2004, with a suggested retail price of $7.99 each. This series of 6-inch figures includes:

  • Tiger Stripe Wolverine with Slash Attack Action (26 points of articulation)
  • Cyclops with Optic Attack Action (36 points of articulation)
  • Gambit with Disk Shooter (36 points of articulation)
  • Archangel with Missile Firing Action (36 points of articulation)
  • New X-Men Wolverine with Sentinel Attack Action (32 points of articulation)
