JAKKS Pacific Inc. today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Under the terms of the agreement, JAKKS Pacific Inc. will design and manufacture, under its Road Champs MXS brand, collectible miniature plastic and die-cast replicas of Yamaha's motorcycles, motocross/supercross playsets, and motocross/supercross accessories. The product lines are expected to launch in mid-2000.

In addition to a full line of motorcycles -- including touring, super sport and dual purpose models, as well as motocross and supercross models -- Yamaha manufactures ATVs, sport boats, snowmobiles, and outboard motors.
