Battle Cat & Happy Meal Battle Cat

May 2003 - From May 2 to May 29, McDonald's will be offering a choice of Masters of the Universe toys or Bratz Pack fashion dolls in their Happy Meals (read the original news item).

The Masters of the Universe offering will consist of eight toys - He-Man, Skeletor, Battle Cat®, Man-At-Arms®, Beast Man®, Panthor®, Orko™ and Ram Man™. Each will have moveable parts and battle weapons.

The McDonald's Battle Cat figure is shown here, along with the regular version of Battle Cat, to show the size difference. The McDonald's version is roughly 70% of the size of the regular version. (The regular version is ten inches long from nose to tail, while the McDonald's version is about seven inches.) The McDonald's Battle Cat is articulated at the shoulders, hips, and tail. His saddle can be removed, but the armor plate on his face is sculpted as part of the head.
