Toy Biz Appoints New VP of Licensing

toybizlogo3.jpg - 10645 BytesToy Biz, a division of Marvel Enterprises, Inc. announced today that it has appointed John Bohach as Vice President, Licensing. John brings to Toy Biz over 25 years of Toy Industry experience, having served in management positions with Tyco Toys, Inc., Kenner Toys and LBS Communications.

John was most recently Vice President of Marketing of the Huntington Learning Center, a $100 million privately held company providing tutorial services to elementary aged children through 200 franchised and company owned retail centers nationally. From 1991 through 1997, he was a Vice President of Advertising, Marketing Services & Licensing at Tyco Toys. From 1986 through 1991, Mr. Bohach was Vice President of Marketing Service & International Marketing at Kenner Toys. From 1970 through 1985, he held various senior management positions at LBS Communications, Red Barron Advertising, American Motors Corporation and General Mills, Inc. Mr. Bohach is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

In his new post at Toy Biz, John will be responsible for the evaluation and acquisition of licensed properties across all forms of media.
