CELEBRATE "THE POWER" AS THE LEGEND OF GRAYSKULL RETURNS WITH MATTEL'S NEW HE-MAN® AND MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE® TOY LINE

Kick-Off Event Tributes the 20th Anniversary of the Masters of the Universe® with Personal Appearances by the Four Horsemen and He-Man® and Skeletor® Characters

EVENT: One of the most powerful brands of the Universe returns to consumers in a new action figure line. To commemorate the debut of the new Masters of the Universe character line and new "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" animated series on the Cartoon Network, Mattel will host a kick-off event to celebrate the re-introduction to fans on Friday, October 18.

At the event, guests will be among the select few to have action figures autographed by the Four Horsemen, the world-renowned, award-winning sculptors of the He-Man line. Also, He-Man and Skeletor characters will make personal appearances and pose for photos with guests.

Already established as a mega-brand, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are backed by a wide range of merchandise and new television series, which airs on the Cartoon Network on Fridays at 4 p.m. this fall. First introduced in the '80s, He-Man was one of the most successful action figure lines in toy history and still lives among its legions of fans.

The Masters of the Universe line of action figures has been redesigned with an updated look and new features for new generations and long-standing fans to anticipate. Collectors can re-create the exciting Masters of the Universe storylines with highly articulated figures, including deluxe figures with real push button battle sounds, miniature figures and an interactive Castle Grayskull playset.
