BASEBALL GREAT VIDA BLUE JOINS THE TODD MCFARLANE SHOW TODAY
JOIN VIDA, TODD AND SETH ON MLB RADIO AT MLB.COM, 4-5 PM EST

Cy Young Award winner Vida Blue joins Todd and Seth today on the Todd McFarlane Show.

Vida made his major league debut with the Oakland Athletics in 1969, pitched a no-hitter in 1970, and won 24 games in 1971, when he was voted the American League Most Valuable Player and won the Cy Young. Blue played on three straight A's World Series championship teams and was the first pitcher to start All-Star games for both leagues. He retired in 1987 with a 209-161 record and a 3.26 earned run average, with 143 complete-games and 37 shutouts.

And, before Vida joins in the conversation at about 4:30 PM Eastern, Todd and Seth are sure to talk about the playoffs. Some playoff races are heating up in the final two weeks of the season, some are already in the deep-freeze. Find out the latest today.

To listen to the show, log on to http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/radio/mlb_radio_index.jsp and click the ON THE AIR LIVE link at the top of the page.

Additionally, fans can ask Todd questions in advance by sending e-mail to [email protected]. And, the questions do NOT have to be limited to sports issues. During the show itself, anyone can use AOL Instant Messenger to reach the show by sending a message to mlbradiolive.
