July 24, 2002 - Tower Records will have an exclusive Mini-Mate figure from Art Asylum, limited to just 5,000. The images shown here are mock-ups of the packaging.

There will be two ways you can get the exclusive Mini-Mate:

- After the San Diego Comic Con, you can get the Mini-Mate free when you place an order at the online Tower Records store. The "catch" is that you'll need to order a full set of any Mini-Mate collection (Star Trek, Bruce Lee, Rock n Roll) to qualify for the free figure.

- Or, if you are attending the San Diego Comic Con, you might be able to get one for FREE. Someone from Tower Records will be roaming the floor of the convention, handing out the exclusive Mini-Mate for free to people attending the convention. He will be there on the 3rd and 4th of August (Saturday and Sunday). About one-third of the exclusive Mini-Mates will be distributed at the convention: so with around 1600 free Mini-Mates to be handed out and 50,000 or so other attendees, you'll want to be on the lookout.

If one free Mini-Mate isn't enough for you, how about TWO free Mini-Mates? If you see the Tower Representative, and mention to him that you are an RTM reader (go ahead, tell him you love the site!), he'll give you an extra Mini-Mate just for mentioning us.
