July 2002 - Toronto, ON - Fireworks and beautiful sunsets will not be the only spectacle transfixing eyes to the heavens this summer. This summer people will be looking skywards for different reasons as Spin Master Toys launches the 2002 Air Hogs Summer Van Tour.
Toronto based toy-maker Spin Master Toys scored a massive hit when they launched the Air Hogs Sky Shark in 1998. Since then, Spin Master has continually pushed the boundaries of innovation and imagination with its line of Air Hogs flying toys.
On the heels of the highly successful launch of the Air Hogs Intruder Radio-Controlled Airplane in 2001, the Air Hogs Summer Van Tour will preview the first ever mass marketed Radio-Controlled Helicopter. The Air Hogs Helicopter raises the bar of ingenuity and innovation in the toy industry by introducing a new flight system called "Proportional Control", which uses a basic trigger function to regulate altitude and speed. Toy lovers both young and old will surely marvel at the magical capabilities of this truly wonderful Air Hogs toy.
The 2002 Van Tour will also be featuring the full line of Air Hogs flying toys in the 'Flight Deck' area where Air Hogs 'Flight Technicians' will orchestrate a whirlwind of fun activities for children of all ages.
