(West Hollywood, CA) May 1, 2002. Corgi International recently re-issued the 1977 Charlie's Angels Van with new packaging. The van has become the websites #1 best selling item, and surpassed the Charlie's Angels "test poster." It was 25 years ago on September 22, 1976 when ABC aired the first episode of Charlie's Angels . The first episode titled "Hellrider" and starred Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. The new series was an over night hit and was pegged as "Jiggle TV."

The series ran for five years until it ended in 1981. The series did include a few cast changes who replaced leaving angels: Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts. The series today still has a huge viewing base with the classic series running on TV Land and with Columbia/TRI-Star's 2000 film version last year which has grossed over $250,000,000.
