Vampire Hunter D Resin Statue

Vampire Hunter D: Meier Link Resin Statue

One of the most popular horror-themed anime features on either side of the globe is offering another marvel of craftsmanship for collectors to add to their shelves in the Vampire Hunter D: Meier Link Resin Statue, available through Diamond Comic Distributors.

Vampire Hunter D is one of the best-known anime features ever produced. Written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Wicked City) and based on a novel by Hideyuki Kikuchi, the story revolves around "D," an infamous dunpeal (born of a vampire father and a human mother) outcast and renowned vampire hunter. His prowess at hunting the creatures of the night allowing him acceptance among humans. Called upon to locate Charlotte Elbourne, the daughter of an affluent family, who has been taken away by the vampire, Meier Link.

Based on the 2001 theatrical Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust feature film, this beautifully crafted, 11" resin work of art from sculptor Keiji Ando presents the vampire Meier Link and his love, Charlotte, in a memorable pose from the movie, and is showcased on an intricately detailed base. No true fan of anime or horror will be able to do without this incredible statue, which comes fully painted, ready to display, and is scheduled to ship in June 2002.
