WATCH's Worst Toys of 2001

Every holiday season brings the toy world numerous "best of" and "hot picks" lists of toys. Each year, there are also a few "worst toys" lists. The non-profit organization World Against Toys Causing Harm, Inc. (WATCH) has announced their "2001 Worst Toys List", which can be viewed in more detail at http://www.toysafety.org/worstToyList.html:

WATCH's preface to their list points out that this list is illustrative and is not an exhaustive list of dangerous toys currently on the market. RTM feels that this explains why some of the toys named to the list are not any more (or less) hazardous than similar toys on the marketplace.

WATCH has been compiling their annual "worst toys" list since 1973, resulting in many changes in toy designs.
