October 2011 - We're not sure how a new season of Bravo's competition reality show Work of Art: the Next Great Artist escaped our notice until three weeks in, but it did. (Thanks for not promoting the show in your email newsletter, Bravo!)
Happily, our cable company has the missed episodes available on demand, and we caught up over the weekend. Toy collectors may wish to start watching this season, because toy artist Sucklord is one of the contestants.
What are we talking about?
Work of Art is a pressure-cooker competition reality show in the same vein as (and from the same people as) Top Chef, so you can guess that the format is to give the contestants an idea and a very short amount of time to create something.
You may have seen Sucklord's work at KidRobot or similar art toy stores - he's the guy who does the pink Stormtroopers.
Work of Art airs on Wednesday nights at 9 Eastern/8 Central.
