Simpsons Tin Toys & Collectibles


Rocket USA has again teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising and Matt Groening, the Emmy-Award®-winning creator of The Simpsons®, to make a line of Simpsons® tin and metal toys, games and collectibles.

Rocket USA will kick off the line this Fall with a series of 10.25" x 15.75" lithographed metal wall signs featuring "Springfield USA", "Kwik-E-Mart", "Comic Book Guy", and "The Krusty Chat Line". Rocket USA will also introduce three series of 2.5" round noisemaker Clickers featuring characters and themes from the hit TV show.

An 8.5" walking Homer Simpson wind-up tin toy will lead the major product launch at the New York International Toy Fair in February 2002. The future product line-up will include Die-Cast Sets, Itchy & Scratchy Toys, Tin Coasters, Tin Marble Games and Die-Cut Tin Signs. Carrying suggested retail prices of $1.49 to $49.99, the Simpsons® line caters to fans of the series and collectors of all ages.

The Simpsons®, winner of 16 Emmy Awards®, is currently the longest running show on prime-time television and attracts over 60 million viewers a week in over 60 countries. It is the #1 program in its time slot for teens and adults in over 20 countries and was voted the #1 sitcom of all time by Entertainment Weekly readers. The Simpsons® website www.thesimpsons.com averages over 500,000 hits per day.
