MEGA Brands Halo Wars Q&A

July 2009 - Recently, Jessica from MEGA Brands dropped in on the ToyBuzz forum and answered a few reader questions about their Halo Wars sets:

TimToyGeek asked: What is the case pack of the medium sets?

Answer: The case packs in the medium sets are the UNSC Warthog and Covenant Hornet, both retailing at 19.99 and available and TRU and Target.

All of our sets can be seen on our Facebook fan page.

Red asked: Understanding that collectors like to army build, are there going to be basic figure packs or two packs like Mega Bloks has done with Pirates and other lines?

Where will these be available?

Is there any sort of sale promotion planned for the start of the line?

Answer: For the Halo Wars, line, there is definitely more of an emphasis on the vehicle construction, where we are selling sets at the $10, 20, 30, and 40 dollar price points (USD). But, for the collector, we are definitely going to be selling basic figure packs at Toys R Us and Target Stores.

We are definitely going to be planning a sort of promotion, but I don't want to get too specific in details right now :)

I really urge you to check out our Facebook Fan page which will be updated regularly with images and contests.

Crayfish asked: I haven't seen them in stores yet.

Answer: The sets are a Fall 2009 release, so they are only slowly starting to hit stores. They are really only out in stores that have recently opened as they tend to get all the newest product first.

You will see a larger quantity of stores carrying it as we move in to August.
