July 2009 - Hasbro has released a few new images of their Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie toys, with details:

As seen on the big screen, during the climactic battle sequence between the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS, in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, JETFIRE sacrifices himself in a final, desperate effort to help his AUTOBOT brethren defeat THE FALLEN and destroy the solar harvester. JOLT and AUTOBOT RATCHET swiftly dismantle JETFIRE and outfit OPTIMUS PRIME in armor jury-rigged from the ancient warrior. Jet boosters give him the ability to fly, while his weapons are enhanced with the long-lost super technology of ancient CYBERTRON.

Hasbro's excited to offer you a photo showing its Transformers Leader class Optimus Prime and Jetfire figures combined, just like the heroic climax of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen!
