Diamond Brings The Armored Core Action To The U.S.

armoredcore_3.jpg - 15932 BytesThe Armored Core action figures (pardon us, High-End Action Models) are coming. Imported from Japan and produced by Kotobukiya, these incredible mechs are destined to be the crown jewel of your toy collection!

Based on the amazing Playstation 2 video game, Armored Core 2 takes the awesome robots of the original Armored Core to the next level, and these exciting new figures bring them home to your robot collection!

Standing approximately 5" tall, these figures accurately replicate the robots seen in the game, which were designed by Shoji Kawamori, acclaimed for his amazing mech designs in such anime as Macross (Robotech) and Escaflowne. Each figure comes pre-assembled with 25 points of articulation, and includes the following weapons: EWG-RF-M35 gun, EWC-CNG4000 chaingun, EWM-S612 missile pod, and EFX-AM-45 missiles. These awesome action figures are sculpted by Japan's Ryoichi Itoh.

Diamond will be bringing these amazing toys to the U.S. through Previews, offering collectors a chance to get their mitts on these 'bots at affordable prices.

Robot #1 will be on sale at comic book and specialty stores on January 24th, and Robot #2 will be on sale February 21st. The third figure will be available in the month of May.
