Jabba's Rancor: anywhere to get this guy at a reasonable rate?

Not a Star Wars collector but I would like to purchase this guy. eBay prices are insane (many start at ~$200). Wasn't aware this guy is so rare. Can he still be had from an on-line vendor? (specifically the darker color scheme, which I understand is the more common one) Alternatively, does Hasbro have plans to re-issue him, as they often do with Star Wars product?

Thank you,
BAT

This is one thing that Hasbro reissues frequently but it might be a while. The 30th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi is next year though, so there's a good chance they will rerelease it then.

Just be patient and you'll get one off ebay for a good price, even if there are only a few insane Buy-It-Nows available at this particular moment in time. There are tons of completed listings from the last few weeks that have closed at $33-$45 for Jabba's Rancor MISB. Considering this was a toy that retailed for $40+tax two years ago, I don't think you'll do much better than that. Even if Hasbro reissues the Rancor the anniversary of ROTJ, it's unlikely to be any cheaper. There are fewer Jabba's Rancors on ebay today than usual, but as soon as there are a few up for sale I doubt you'll have any problems whatsoever getting one for less than 50 bucks shipped.

Just in case you weren't aware, the two Target exclusives are much better than previous versions.
If you don't specifically need the Jabba version, Ebay has the FORCE UNLEASHED BATTLE RANCOR. There are a few under $100 .
