Comments: Reportedly, this was the shortpacked figure of this assortment. However, the figure itself did not prove hard to find after its initial release and even made it to many clearance aisles in the next few years.

The figure's production was somewhat of a surprise given that even at that time the character had begun to be an infrequent fixture in the comics and is virtually absent today. The action feature used a spring to propel the right arm used to "throw" the knives. This feature did not involve a locking mechanism or button. You merely pulled the arm back and released it. This action feature worked marginally well at best.

Many collectors have commented on Longshot's face. Though the overall sculpting and painting of the figure are very well done, the face (and in articular, the eyes) leave something to be desired. The expression on the figure's face appears somewhat frenzied. The large dark-circled eyeballs look out of place.
