Had a bad illness in Jan which led to my right hand getting infected with a bad iv in the hospital (which I plan on hitting with a lawsuit) & was unable to use my right hand. Then in Feb,I ended back up in the hospital with a more dangerous strain of the bacterial infection and then sent to a special rehab hospital to recover and get my right hand back to 100%.
On saturday the 16th, my blood presure dropped really bad and sent to another hospital where I got 5 pints of blood due to I had only 4 pints in me.I looked so pale that I could have won a Twilight Edward look a like contest.I came real close to dying from that one.
So far the bleeding ulcers stopped that were discovered in me and Im home now & recovering.
Thats where Ive been.
Oh the worst part was while I was in the hospital,My Dad passed away after heart surgery so Feb has been a disaster of a month for me.
March has to be better!

Sorry for all that ordeal, Rocker. Sounds like you've been through it...more than your share. Especially sorry about your dad.

Hospitals are the devil. You know that. Dr. Frankenstein himself couldn't have dreamed up a better environment for breeding super bacteria.

Man, and I thought when I woke up this morning I was having a rough time thanks to catching the seasonal crud from my family. But seriously... I'm very glad to hear you are doing better now, turning the corner in the right direction and back home now. Hang in there, and we will send out all positive thoughts and prayers your way. This experience sounds pretty daunting, but once again, you are proving to be one tough customer!

Most of all, I want to extend my sincere condolences in the passing of your father. As you know, I laid my own father to rest just a few short months ago following a horrific tour through some unspeakably mismanaged healthcare situations. (Which is part of why it scares me to read about how you ended up on your roller coaster ride in the first place.) How is your mom holding up through all of this? Give her a hug from me, from one mom to another. And hey, I don't know what sort of things your dad was into, but if he enjoyed music, classic cars, racing, football, woodworking or anything like that, I'm pretty sure my dad will have welcomed him into that big conversation upstairs by now. Wink

Thanks everyone.its been very hard on My Mom the most. I knew Dad was in really bad shape & had a feeling he wasnt going to make it. Worst part was not being able to see him after the double bypass sense I had that horrible bacterial infection at the time. I will say this house feels a lot more empty now.

I'm glad you're doing better, WR, and I'm very sorry for your loss, too. I just got out of the hospital myself a week ago, and found out I'm a walking, talking personification of Murphy's Law myself.

I'll tell you guys about it someday soon. Smile

Thanks everyone.I have spent the last month and a half working non stop at home on rebuilding my hand use and strength along with handling the paperwork and mess that comes with a family members passing and just getting back to my regular life which got put on hold these past few months. Its been hard work but Im almost back to 100% full hand use and getting ready for July 2013 (The Summer of Adam West Batman Toys) along with getting a new band together for future projects.
