Other than feeling around the bag, is there a way to tell (ala LEGO barcode) which figure is in each bag? I could easily tell Bowser by his spikey shell. The others not so much. I only want Toad, but I couldn't make out his mushroom noggin.

They switched to blind bags? The initial wave of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Bowser came with their picture on it.

yep the new bags are blind bags, and they offer if I remember Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, and Toad as a surprise figure to find.

Yes, look at which number in the sequence on the back is underlined (Thanks to dr baghead on MMMV!).

1-Mario
2-Bowser
3-Luigi
4-Yoshi
5-Donkey Kong
6-Toad
7-Diddy Kong

So if the third number in the code on the back is underlined, it is Luigi.

Bowser still seems relatively hard to find, I found a new looking box and only found 2 in there.

I only wanted Bowser & Toad. Bowser was easy to find since you can feel the spikes of his shell through the packaging. I was the 1st to touch the display box @ Walmart the other night & Bowser was the 1st one I picked up. I didn't buy any others because I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on figures I didn't want. I figured I'd wait until I could find a cheat code.

Last night, I had to make a quick stop for a few items before going home so I grabbed another package. I had a feeling it was Yoshi & sure enough it was. In my heart I was hoping it was Toad's mushroom head instead of Yoshi's snout.

Fast forward to this morning. I had some time to kill so I stopped once more. I grabbed 5 more bags. I ended up w/2 Donkey Kongs, 2 Toads, & a Diddy Kong.

Now that I see the cheat code, I suppose I will have to go back & find Mario & Luigi to complete the set. & to think, I originally set out only to buy Bowser & Toad. I guess that's what happens when you let impatience & curiosity get the better of you.

Those codes are wrong. I was looking for Bowser, Diddy and Donkey Kong. There was a load of them at CVS so I checked the numbers and then came across a Zero underlined, so your codes went out of the window.

Code - 0512149
0 - Mario
1 - Luigi
2 - Yoshi
5 - Bowser

Code - 0512160
0 - Diddy Kong
1 - Donkey Kong
6 - Toad

Scrap what I just said, in Toys R Us the codes were all different. Must be by the batch

The cheat codes worked for me. Using the cheat, I was able to pick up Mario & Luigi.

Of course you may be right. The numbers might change according to batch.

New Wave!

Mario - 0512310
Fire Mario - 0512310
Luigi - 0512310
Ice Luigi - 0512310
Yellow Yoshi - 0512310
Blue Yoshi - 0512310
Yellow Toad - 0512310
Blue Toad - 0512310 (double underline)
Peach - 0512310 (double underline)

Numbers change, it's what number that's underlined that is important.

Found them at TRU.

Thank you! What store are those showing up at?

I got them at Toys R Us this morning. 7-26-13

The one box that I checked at my local Toys R Us only had 2 Wario and 2 Daisy figures in it. It was loaded with Boo figures.

Thank you again! Stopped at TRU on the way home and grabbed my set (and at buy one get one 50% off this week). Didn't count them, but Wario and Daisy were definitely the hardest to find in that box also.

I also picked up the 3 packs with mystery figures and here are the mystery figures (they are not random, the inner packaging show the mystery figure on paperwork)...

The Fire Mario and Hammer Bro set came with a Bob-omb
Gold Mario and Fire Luigi came with a gold Bullet Bill
Boomerang Mario and Koopa Troopa came with a Boomerang Flower

Did you find the 3 packs at Toys R Us? I did not see them at my local Toys R Us. Thanks.

Yes, they were $9.99 at my TRU.

Thanks. I went back to check and the 3 packs are not in stock yet at my TRU, but did find the Reznor set.

Thank you very much for posting info on the 3-packs. I didn't even know they existed. I happened to be in a city w/a TRU last night & picked up all 3.

Now I just need to find wave 3 of the singles.

Thanks for the codes. You can find reviews and online casino games in this site.
I was able to find the Blue Toad but I wasn´t able to get the yellow one.
I got Donkey Kong instead of it. It´s ok but I wanted Toad in Blue color.
Thank you again.
