If the blue Ghost Rider isn't the variant, why can I only find orange? txt

So far, the variations seem as or more common than the "regular" versions. I've seen plenty of blue Iron Men, and yesterday I also picked up a Steve Rogers with the energy shield (which I believe is the variant, but I could be wrong...does anyone know?).

Weird.

May be just the way the cases are being sent out; I think some folks have found the regular figures, so I don't think it's a case of one version shipping now and the other shipping later (something Mattel did with some of the early DCUC waves).

It seems like the Marvel Legends variants are front-loaded. It has been my experience going all the way back to ToyBiz that you have a better shot at finding the variants as soon as they start showing up, and then later cases are regular. That's only one anecdote, I know, but I'm still seeing it a lot. For what that's worth. I'd say give it a couple of weeks and the regular versions will be in higher abundance. Target has its reset coming up the 26th, so give them a look then.

Local TRUs stores are re-setting AF aisles, but the new ML are showing up as both the variant wave
and the "regular", matching the figure's card image. Meijer stores also have both, and saw a single
Contrictor at Pontiac Target this a.m.. All we be plentiful IMHO.

I just saw the orange GR for the first time, out of maybe 6 cases, today at TRU.

Yesterday, I received a variant case of Legends 2.

Legends Series 2?!? They are out already?

yup! Online only so far
They started appearing from US etailers about a week or two weeks back

And starting yesterday, HTS is selling them by the case (I don't know of any valid coupons though):

Yesterday, they sold out in about 4 minutes
today they lasted for 10 minutes

I've seen two cases so far at Target (though the 'street date' for Target is 2/26 on these).

The 1st one was missing a figure but had the following left:

1x Orange Ghost Rider Variant
2x Blue/Stealth Extremis IM Variant
1x Steve Rogers Variant
1x Constrictor
1x Klaw
1x Hope

I assume the missing figure was Thor. Picked up all sans the 2nd IM

The next day, I found another Target and saw the freshly opened case:

1x Blue Ghost Rider
2x Yellow/Extremis IM
1x Steve Rogers (solid shield / blue paint apps)
1x Constrictor
1x Klaw
1x Hope
1x Thor

Took the Blue GR and Thor I was missing (and the Extremis IM which I will probably return).

That said, it's a coin flip as to which case you'll see as they are not shipping variants solely in the refresher cases.

What I am wondering is: Now that S2 has been out for some time...how many S1 cases are out there. In other words - is the production run on these about wrapped up with the release of S2.

Right now, it looks as if all of the Targets have gotten one, initial case of S1. When those sell thru...how many restocks will there be of S1 before moving to S2? I am hoping that TRU does not get a 1 month head start with every series or I could see things getting pretty muddled quick.

Pulled a regular case from the backroom @ Target on Saturday. The headsculp on Steve Rodgers looks much better in person. In fact, the whole wave looks much better in person.
