Reddit directed me to a POP hero figurine of Batman, but created in Lego... a little clicking around on this site got me to the artist, Bruce Lowell, and a few other comic book figurines:

(Okay- Mario isn't a superhero, but we all love him, anyway.)

They all come from an interesting idea by Pleyworld- crowdsourced toys for rental. What do you guys think about this concept?
